Missing Norwalk groom found

August 12, 2005 By admin

A missing Norwalk man, a sort of runaway groom, has been found in southwest Iowa. The Union County Sheriff received a tip from a Lorimor resident that 34-year-old Arthur Schramm was sleeping in the Lorimor City Park. According to some sources, Schramm spent the last four days walking through the countryside, sleeping in timber and farm fields. Schramm’s vehicle was found in Osceola earlier in the week. Schramm told his fiancee on Monday that he was going out to the store for an antacid, then he disappeared. The two are engaged to be married later this year. Schramm does not face criminal charges.
