Marshalltown teacher arrested on sexual exploitation charge

A Marshalltown teacher has been charged with sexual exploitation of a student. Jeffrey Spencer was arrested at his home Wednesday night. The warrant was issued following an investigation of a June report of the possible sexual exploitation of a 13-year-old female student. Spencer has been charged with indecent contact with a child, lascivious conduct with a minor and sexual exploitation by a counselor, therapist or employee.
