Cedar Rapids man charged with stabbing wife

A Cedar Rapids man is charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his wife this weekend. Cedar Rapids police were called out shortly after 2 A.M. Sunday to a home on the northeast side on the report of a domestic disturbance. Police found Carla Kendall had sustained several stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, no condition is available. Police also located and arrested her husband, 35-year-old Edward Kendall. He was charged with attempted murder and first-degree burglary.
