Two suspects were arrested in a drug bust in Shelby County on Wednesday. The bust started with a traffic stop in Defiance. Two suspects ran from the scene of the traffic stop. A third suspect – as 31-year-old Angel Perez — was arrested at the scene. Perez is believed to be an illegal immigrant, and the I-N-S will likely be called in. The two who fled are not believed to be a threat, and local authorities think they are probably out of the area by now. As a result of what happened at the traffic stop, authorities obtained a search warrant for a home in Defiance. A search of the home led authorities to arrest 40-year-old Adolfo Zaragoza-Medina. He faces various drug charges. A large amount of meth and other drug paraphernalia — and a gun – were reportedly found inside the house.
