Illinois coach hopes for improvement against Iowa

Illinois coach Ron Zook hopes his second Big Ten game goes better than his first. The Illini will visit Iowa this weekend after opening the conference race with a 61-14 loss to Michigan State at home. He says hopefully they can play with more energy and emotion than when they played against M-S-U.Zook is in his first season as the Illinois coach and hopes the game against Michigan State has not hurt their confidence too much. He says they need to play with the energy that they had played with in the previous three games.Iowa’s defense was riddled by Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith last week and now get ready for The Illini’s hurry up offense. Zook says they have to take care of what they do and can’t worry about what anybody else does. Illinois is 2-2 overall.
