There’s an urgent Amber Alert in Iowa as authorities search for a nine-year-old Ottumwa girl, Gloria Bonilla Lopez, who may have been abducted this morning. Police had asked people traveling Highway 34 and the southern part of Interstate 35 to be on the look-out for a Green 1998 Toyota Corolla with Iowa license plates. But police now say 29-year-old Brendan Stanley is no longer driving the Green 1998 Toyota Corolla, as the vehicle has been recovered in North West Van Buren County.

Stanley is believed to be the man who took the girl. Bonilla is described as hispanic with long, black, straight hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with light blue sweat pants and pink shoes. She was last seen between 8 and 8:30 this morning at Ottumwa Elementary School. Stanley is described as a white man with short brown hair and blue eyes. If you see the car or the child and this man, please contact authorities immediately.
