Five charged in Iowa Falls bank robbery

Five people are in custody and will be charged with robbing a bank in Iowa Falls this (Thursday) morning. Five Fort Dodge residents were stopped on Highway 20 near Webster City and arrested by Webster City police and the Iowa State Patrol. At about nine on Thursday morning, a bank in Iowa Falls was robbed at gunpoint. Witnesses described the get-away vehicle, and the description was broadcast in the area. The five arrested were Clifford F. Brown, Veronica Mosley, Andrew Avera, Germane Slater and Deante Smith, all of Fort Dodge. The five are being held in the Hamilton County Jail in Webster City and will be taken to Hardin County to face the robbery charges.
