Drake football team gets much needed week off

October 13, 2005 By admin

Drake coach Rob Ash says the off week came at the right time for his team. The Bulldogs had their three game winning streak snapped with a loss to Dayton and next up visit San Diego next week. He says the linemen on both sides of the ball are really beat up after six tough games in a row. He says the rest will be good for them. The Bulldogs will use the time off to heal and also assume the role of cheerleader. He says Dayton plays San Diego and they’re pulling for San Diego, as that would give his team a chance again to in the league.
