Two Iowa men have died at a Wisconsin railroad crossing.Investigators say 60-year-old Gary Friday of Guttenburg, Iowa, and 49-year-old John Jackson, of Center Point, were evidently standing on one set of tracks, waiting for a northbound train to pass. While they were there, waiting, they were hit by a southbound train. The engineer on the soutbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe train wasn’t able to stop in time to avoid the two — who were pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened in Glen Haven, Wisconsin, near a boat landing on the Mississippi River. Glen Haven is about 30 miles northwest of Dubuque.
