Porn spurs security measures for Buchanan County

November 2, 2005 By admin

Items downloaded on a road department computer have caused Buchanan County officials to rethink their policies. Officials implemented some security measures after it was alleged that some porn was downloaded on a county computer in the secondary roads department in Independence. Since several people have access to the computer, officials were unable to determine who might’ve downloaded the porn. They’ve now started using passwords and user I-D’s to track what’s being downloaded on the county computers.
