Two shootings, one arrest, in Oskaloosa

November 2, 2005 By admin

Oskaloosa police are investigating two shootings overnight on or near the campus of William Penn University. One suspect is jailed for allegedly firing several shots outside a dorm. Oskaloosa police, with help from the Mahaska County Sheriff’s office, arrested 22-year-old Daniel Thomas Bradley, originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, on a charge of attempted murder. Bradley was taken into custody on campus. At around midnight, another shooting was reported at a home near campus. A man who was wearing a black-and-gold Halloween mask reportedly walked into a house and fired several shots, then fled.
