U-N-I hopes to host I-AA football playoffs

November 16, 2005 By admin

U-N-I athletic director Rick Hartzell says if they’ll find out Sunday if they host a game and will sell tickets beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. He believes the Panthers could still be tabbed as one of four regional top seeds.

Hartzell says the three number one seeds will be Montana, New Hampton and New Hampshire, and he says they think they have a chance for the fourth. He says getting the seed would guarantee two games, and if they win Saturday, he says they’d get one home game.

U-N-I closes out the regular season at home against Northern Arizona.
