November 21, 2005 By admin

The Class 1-A football season is history. After missing two first-half field goals, Daniel Murray provided all the points in the fourth quarter for Iowa City Regina, as they win their first-ever state title, knocking off Algona Bishop Garrigan 19-8 in the 1-A state championship game Friday afternoon at the UNI-dome. Murray put the Regals ahead for good with 9:02 to play on a 26-yard field goal.
