Morninside visits St. Francis of Indiana in the semifinals of the NAIA playoffs and the Mustangs will be looking to avenge a lopsided defeat last year in the opening round of the playoffs. Coach Steve Ryan says he has a more experienced, more confident and healthier team this time around. After two lopsided playoff wins Ryan says this will be their toughest test so far. He says they have a phenomenal offense that’s able to run the football. He says they pound the ball at you and get off the ball fast. On defense he says they pursue well. Ryan says the program is ready for a game of this magnitude. He says they set the goal to be conference champs and then each week in the playoffs they’ve stepped it up and gotten better. Both teams are 12-0. St. Francis is ranked second, Morningside is third
