A northeast Iowa hunter had to be treated for exposure to the cold after getting lost and prompting an air and ground search this weekend. Members of a hunting party reported that 28-year-old Chris Nosbich of Burlington came up missing late Saturday as they were deer hunting near New Albin. The New Albin Fire Department coordinated a search party that consisted of local police, fire and sheriff’s departments. The Iowa Civil Air Patrol also searched from the air as did a helicopter from Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. They looked for Nosbich throughout the nigh, finally finding him around 10 A.M. Sunday, five miles southeast of New Albin. Nosbich was taken to the hospital for treatment.
