University of Iowa officials expect another large following in Florida when the Hawkeyes take on Florida in the January second Outback Bowl in Tampa. U-of-I ticket manager David Sandstrum says he has an allotment of 16-thousand tickets. He says anytime the team goes to Florida, he says he knows they’ll sell a lot of tickets.
He says they got one thousand more tickets then the last time Iowa went to Tampa back in 2004. Sandstrum says tickets may be ordered via the internet or by calling the Hawkeye ticket office. They’ll stay open until 5 p.m. during the week. He says most people buy their tickets on-line.
Sandstrum says season ticket holders have first priority. He says they do everything they can to accommodate everyone. Tuesday is the priority deadline for season ticket holders.
