The Iowa Hawkeyes will be on the road in the Big Ten when they visit Penn State. The Hawks are 1-1 in conference play after a victory at home against sixth rated Illinois last weekend. Penn State is also coming off a big win. They picked up a 65-61 victory at Northwestern on Wednesday night to improve to 8-4 on the season.

Iowa guard Jeff Horner says Northwestern beat Minnesota on the road and then Minnesota gives Wisconsin a tough game. Senior forward Greg Brunner feels rebounding will be a key. He says they may be the smallest Big Ten team in the conference, but he says they crash the boards and play with a great effort.

Iowa coach Steve Alford says Penn State makes up for their lack of size. He says they use three and almost four guards which is different to compete against as they get up and down the floor. Alford says any road game is tough to win and Penn State will have added confidence after their victory at Northwestern.
