Iowa State returns to Big 12 action at home against Texas [email protected] The Cyclones are 2-2 in the league race after an impressive lopsided win at Nebraska and coach Wayne Morgan hopes his young frontline continues to improve. Morgan says the players now have an idea of where they have to go and now they have to be tough enough to battle.

Perimeter play is the obvious strength of the Cyclones and Morgan says the front court needs to hold its own. The Aggies are 1-3 in the Big 12 and Wednesday’s four point loss at Kansas State continued a string of close and frustrating losses for coach Billy Gillespie’s squad. I-S-U is 12-5 overall. [email protected] is 11-4.
