U-N-I looks to keep at least a share of the Missouri Valley conference lead when they host Drake. This will be the third game for the Panthers since senior guard Erick Crawford suffered a broken foot. So far the bench has come through as U-N-I has won its last two games. Panther coach Greg McDermott says they’re trying to replace Crawford with several people.

At 11-8 overall the Bulldogs have a real shot at earning the programs first winning season since 1987. Coach Tom Davis says in his third season he know has the type of players needed to run his pressing style. Davis says you can get better at it, but he says some of the players are just naturally instinctive at it. He says finding those players is important, although he says sometimes that ability is not easy to judge. Drake is 4-4 in the Valley.
