Denison man arrested on drug and weapons charges

A rural Denison man’s in the Crawford County jail after a search over the weekend turned up drugs, cash and weapons. Search warrants were issued Saturday night for a home on the south side of Denison, and another on Sunday for a home southeast of town, in connection with an investigation by police and the Crawford County Sheriff’s office into illegal drug activity.

Officers seized substances they believe to be drugs as well as numerous items of drug paraphernalia, several weapons and cash. 37-year-old Randall Davis of rural Denison was arrested on several drug charges and jailed on more than 300-thousand dollars bond. Authorities say they’re still working on the case and expect to make more arrests.
