Harlan teens charged with sexual abuse of young girl

February 6, 2006 By admin

Two western Iowa teenagers are charged with having sex with a young girl. Two teenagers from Harlan are charged with felony sexual abuse for allegedly having sex with a 12-year-old girl. Seventeen-year-old Leonard Dagel and 16-year-old Cody Klein face charges of third-degree sexual abuse, which carries a maximum sentence of ten-years in prison and fines of up to ten-thousand-dollars.

Both cases have been waived from juvenile court to Shelby County District Court. Dagel and Klein are both awaiting a preliminary hearing date.
