McDermott dismisses speculation about other jobs

February 13, 2006 By admin

U-N-I basketball coach Greg McDermott says he is not looking to move on. McDermott’s name has been is one of about a dozen that have been mentioned as possible replacement for Quin Snyder at Missouri but McDermott brushed aside that speculation over the weekend. “I’ve got a team to coach and this is my job, and that’s all there is too it. I haven’t talked to anybody and don’t plan to,” said McDermott.

The Panthers are currently part of a four way tie for first in the Missouri Valley race. They return to action Tuesday night with a visit to Indiana State.
