The U-N-I Panthers are part of a four way tie for first in the Valley race heading into tonight’s visit to Indiana State. The Panthers are 11-4 in the conference after a 66-63 loss to Missouri State at home.

Panther coach Greg McDermott says they’re “behind the eight ball a little bit” as they have to play two of their last three conference games on the road. He says the silver lining is that they’re still tied for the conference lead.

U-N-I claimed a lopsided win over the Sycamores in their first meeting in the dome. McDermott says they played well in the first game and he hopes he can get the team focused to play well again, as he says Indiana State has nothing to lose, and his team has everything to lose. The Panthers are 21-5 overall.
