Clear Creek/Amana voters approve two issues

February 15, 2006 By admin

Voters in the Clear Creek/Amana school district approved two measures Tuesday in an effort to build two new schools. The first measure passed in five of the six districts and would allow the school board to issue general obligation bonds up to 25-million dollars to build a new elementary school and a new high school.

The second measure also passed in five of the six districts and would raise property taxes for the school construction projects up to four-dollars per thousand dollars of assessed value.
