One person is dead after an ice-fishing accident in western Iowa. Three men from were ice-fishing at Prairie Rose State Park near Harlan yesterday afternoon when they fell through the ice. Two of the men were rescued quickly, but the third man remained underwater for nearly 30 minutes before rescuers could get to him. That man was taken to the Harlan hospital, where he later died.

Names of the victims have not been released, but all three men are reportedly from Council Bluffs, and one of the men was in his 50s, one in his 60s and another in his 90s. Authorities say it was not the 90-year-old who died.
