Orange City man accused of soliciting minor on the Internet

A western Iowa man is in trouble for allegedly seeking sex in eastern Iowa. Cedar Falls police arrested the Orange City man for allegedly setting up a meeting for sex over the Internet with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl.

Thirty-four-year-old Steven Kenney had been chatting on-line for more than two months with the person who was actually a Cedar Falls police officer. Police arrested Kenney after he drove from northwest Iowa to meet the girl for sex in Cedar Falls. Kenney was charged with enticing a minor.
