Decorah man charged for allegedly assaulting referees

A Decorah man faces charges for allegedly assaulting two referees during a high school basketball game. Forty-four-year old Mark Kraayenbrink if being charged with simple assault for an incident February 24th during a high school girl’s basketball game being played at Luther College in Decorah. Kraayenbrink is accused of physically assaulting and making derogatory comments to referees Justin Stockdale of Dike and John Conlon of Waterloo.
