Fort Dodge St. Edmond to face Nodaway Valley in 2A title

Fort Dodge St. Edmond is headed back to the 2A championship game. The Gaels shot a blistering 56 percent in the opening half to build an 18-point advantage enroute to a 57-35 win over Northeast Goose Lake. Sam Condon led the way with 16 points and ten rebounds and says the Gaels play a more complete game than in their first round victory over Osage.

Northeast struggled the entire way and made just 11 of 47 shots from the field.
Rebels coach Kevin Enwright says they weren’t running any offense and put up some poor shots and weren’t patient.

St. Edmond will face Nodaway Valley of Greenfield avenged their only loss of the season, downing Bondurant Farrar 53-42. The Warriors overcame a 27-19 halftime deficit by holding Bondurant Farrar to just 4 fourth quarter points.

James Larson came up big for Nodaway Valley, scoring eight of his 19 points in the fourth quarter. Kerwin Dunham led Bondurant with 26 points, as they lost for the first time this season.
