Man charged with murder at Des Moines strip club

April 5, 2006 By admin

A Des Moines man is charged with first-degree murder after a stabbing outside a Des Moines strip club. A spokesman for the Polk County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were called to the strip club known as the “Lumberyard” just before 2:30 this morning for a fight that was in progress.

A second report before deputies arrived said a man had been stabbed and another man had fled. Deputies found 27-year-old Luca Jon Pasa with a stab wound to his chest. Attempts to revive him failed and Pasa was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested 18-year-old Erik Gilge of Des Moines and charged him with first-degree murder. Deputies are still trying to sort out what led to the fight.
