Drugs found in body of Eastern Iowa woman

April 6, 2006 By admin

An eastern Iowa woman faces several charges after Cedar Rapids police say they found 14 bags of cocaine hidden in her body. Jessica Hennings of Clutier was arrested Tuesday night following a chase. Police say the drugs, which were packed in a larger plastic bag, were found during a strip search. She was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police Lieutenant Brent Long says the biggest fear was that on of the bags would pop and she could die. Hennings is charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, attempting to elude and driving while under suspicion.
