A former teacher’s aide is pleading not guilty to charges of sexually abusing a Boyden-Hill High School student. Thirty-year-old Kelly Cuperus of Hull is accused of having a sexual relationship with the teenage boy. Cuperus was arrested last month. Sioux County authorities charged her for incidents which allegedly took place last year when the boy was 15 and 16-years-old.
She’s charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, three counts of sexual exploitation by a school employee and three counts of lascivious conduct with a minor. Cuperus remains free on bond.
