Iowa sees model for its future in Nebraska baseball

April 11, 2006 By admin

When Iowa baseball coach Jack Dahm looks across the diamond tonight he will see a program that he hopes his Hawkeyes will become some day. Iowa hosts a nationally ranked Nebraska team that is 24-5 and proof that it can be done up north. Dahm says the Huskers have one of the premiere programs in the midwest and the country. He says Nebraska proves you can win in the colder climate of the midwest.

Dahm says they are a program to model yourself after. He says as his team continues to improve and win, the resources will be there as they get better.
The Hawkeyes are 14-13 overall after taking thee of four games of a Big Ten series at Penn State.
