Search for missing Northeast Iowa man has happy ending

April 17, 2006 By admin

The search for a missing man in northeast Iowa this weekend had a happy ending. Seventy-one-year-old Darrell Bushman apparently wandered away from his home in Clermont just before noon Friday. Clermont police and local residents help search for Bushman and a plane was brought in from West Union.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s dog found Bushman in the woods behind Bushman’s home after about an hour and a half of searching. Bushman was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but is not believe to have suffered any injuries.
