The suspect accused in two shootings last week near Storm Lake was apprehended over the weekend. The Buena Vista County Sheriff says 20-year-old Ulises Morales-Garcia of Albert City was arrested Saturday and charged with two counts of attempted murder. He’s being held in the county jail under 100-thousand dollars bond. Investigators believe the two victims were shot Thursday during a fight over a drug deal.
Drugs and money were seized. 27-year-old Harry Ritchart of Royal was shot in the head. 25-year-old Chris Wunder of Spencer was shot in the torso several times. Ritchart and Wunder are still hospitalized and no condition reports are being released.
