Mason City man killed in motorcycle accident

April 19, 2006 By admin

One man is dead after a motorcycle-truck accident in Mason City on Tuesday night. Police were called shortly before 6 o’clock to a residential intersection in northwestern Mason City where a 2005 Yahama motorcycle traveling southbound and driven by 20-year-old Timothy Kellogg of Mason City collided with a 1997 Ford pick-up truck being driven eastbound by 52-year-old Thomas Lair, also of Mason City.

Kellogg was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, where he was later pronounced dead. Lair was not injured in the accident. The Mason City Police Department and Iowa State Patrol continue to investigate the accident.
