Woman dies in Benton County crash

April 27, 2006 By admin

An eastern Iowa woman was killed in a head-on crash near the Benton County town of Norway on Wednesday afternoon. Troopers say 44-year-old Teresa Ann Denlinger of Cedar Rapids apparently crossed the center line and hit another car, driven by 44-year-old Linda Brecht of Marengo.

Denlinger was pronounced dead at the scene. Brecht was injured but a condition report hasn’t been released. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
