The State Historical Society has set aside 30-thousand dollars to help home and business owners in the Iowa City area “stabilize” historic structures damaged by the recent tornadoes.

Jeff Morgan, a spokesman for the State Historical Society. He says the money’s not meant for complete restoration, but for stop-gap measures that protect historic properties from the elements until permanent repairs can be made. Morgan has the contact information.
