Electric scooter seized in drug arrest

June 6, 2006 By admin

Police have been known to seize fancy sports cars as part of drug busts — but officers in northeast Iowa say they recently seized a less glamorous vehicle.

Clayton County deputies spotted 23-year-old Justin Pattison operating his electric scooter on Main Street in McGregor Friday and arrested him on a warrant for delivery of marijuana. Deputies say they confiscated the scooter because the scooter was used to deliver the marijuana. The scooter is valued at 450 dollars.
