Red Oak man stabbed to death

July 6, 2006 By admin

Red Oak police say the a local man was stabbed to death early this morning by another man. Police Chief Drue Powers says the victim, 44-year-old Kenneth Wolf, was found sometime after one o’clock this morning and died at the scene. He says there’s one suspect who is being interviewed at this time.

Powers says they’re not yet identifying the suspect or filing charges. The chief says they aren’t sure exactly what led to the stabbing, but are interviewing witnesses who may’ve seen what happened. Powers says there are “very few witnesses”, but he says things can always change.

Powers says they’re still searching for the weapon. He says they’re looking on roofs, in alleys and trash containers, trying to find the weapon and any evidence. Powers says they’re asking anyone who might have information on the case to call the Red Oak police department.
