The boyfriend of a northeast Iowa woman, whose daughter disappeared and was found dead last July, will be sentenced next month on child pornography charges. Twenty-six-year-old Casey Frederiksen had pleaded guilty in February to two counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of receiving or attempting to receive child porn.

Authorities found the images on Frederiksen’s computer while investigating the death of his girlfriend’s daughter, Evelyn Miller, last year. The case had been put on hold for a pre-sentence investigation. On Tuesday, the U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids set August 10th for a sentencing hearing.

Frederiksen was the boyfriend of Noel Miller, the mother of five-year-old Evelyn Miller, who disappeared from their home in Rudd in July of 2005; her body was found a few days later near the Cedar River. No one has yet been charged in connection with her death.
