The founder of a chain of truck stops across the Midwest has died.

Bosselman’s a familiar names to over-the-road drivers, with hundreds of employees in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and New Mexico. In addition to truck stops with the Bosselman name, the company runs Pump & Pantry convenience Stores, motels, and restaurants. The corporation’s also got investments in condominiums and agriculture, and handles the wholesale delivery of propane, oil and fuel. Some locations also do repairs to truck and trailers.

Frederick Bosselman was 89.
