Welcome to the new Radio Iowa site!

August 7, 2006 By admin

Welcome!  If you’re reading this, it means you have successfully signed into the editing toolkit on the new version of the Radio Iowa web site.  This box is where administrators of the web site can tell all the other contributors (both in the newsroom and elsewhere) what is happening with the status of the site, changes in how it works, fixes and updates, and other advisories.  Posts and comments made here are only visible to users of the system, not the public at large.

I’m Andy Waschick, the developer of the original system the Radio Iowa news site ran on, as well as all subsequent versions up to and including this latest version of the G2 toolkit.  I’m here to let you know what is going on with the technology of the site, and the various development status of its features.  Other users, such as Steve Mays and Bob Hague will also be making their own posts here as we settle in and start using this new software for doing day-to-day work.

You’ll find there is a great deal in this version of the site that is new, hopefully it has been put together in such a way that it will make your effort in contributing to Radio Iowa less complicated, while enriching the experience of the audience as well.
