Man dies in Black Hawk County crash

A Black Hawk County accident has taken the life of an Oelwein man. It happened at about 1:45 A.M. Sunday, on East Cedar Wapsi Road, four miles north of Dunkerton.

A car driven by 24-year-old David Phong Thanh Huynh of Oelwein, veered over the center line, into a ditch, and struck a field embankment, rolling over. Huynh was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident was investigated by the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s department.
