Name released on woman found dead in Linn County

September 7, 2006 By admin

Authorities have released the name of the eastern Iowa woman who died mysteriously at her house this week. The Linn County Sheriff’s Department is releasing little information about the death of 56-year-old Connie Carrothers at her home near Coggon Tuesday.

After receiving a 9-1-1 call from a relative Tuesday afternoon, authorities found the body of Carrothers inside the home, and her husband, 57-year-old Kent Carrothers having medical problems. He was listed in serious condition at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
