September 11, 2006 By admin

A central Iowa family that lost their home in a fire is getting a new home via a TV show. Shawn and Amy Kibe were awakened Sunday by the host and crew of the A-B-C show “Extreme Makeover, Home Edition.”

The Kibe’s and their three sons lost their home in Tama County in December of 2004 and were chosen to be the recipients of a new home to be built by volunteers on the show. The Kibes will be on vacation the week the home is being built.
