Investigators seek cause of Missouri Valley woman’s death

September 25, 2006 By admin

Authorities in western Iowa are investigating a body that was found in an apartment over the weekend. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office says a body was found inside an apartment in Missouri Valley yesterday morning. Authorities were called to the apartment at about 3 A.M. yesterday after a woman’s body was discovered by her husband.

The woman’s body was taken to the Douglas County Coroner’s Office in Omaha for an autopsy. Her name is not being released, and authorities say no other information will be released until the investigation is finished. The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri Valley Police and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating.
