Police look for suspects in crime spree

October 7, 2006 By admin

Law officers in northern Iowa and in Minnesota are asking for the public’s help in the arrest of the people involved in a crime spree Thursday in Kossuth County, near the Minnesota border.

Extensive damage was done to a tractor and a combine an attached “bean buggy” that were stolen from a farm and then driven into separate ditches. A pickup truck was also stolen and driven through fields and ditches onto a hale bale where it caught fire. The suspects then walked to another farm and stole another pickup and drove it to Minnesota. The dollar amount of damage won’t be released until all the estimates are in.
