Investigators look through remains after Bunn-O-Matic fire

October 20, 2006 By admin

Investigators from the fire marshal’s office continue looking into a smoky fire that drove hundreds of workers from a factory in Creston yesterday (Thursday). No new information is available regarding the fire that occurred at the Creston Bunn-o-Matic plant Thursday afternoon.

Officials say the five hundred employees at the plant were able to escape without injury. A dollar amount of damage has not yet been calculated. An e-mail received from corporate headquarters indicates tentative plans call for the plant to resume partial operations on Monday.
