A home built by volunteers went up in flames over the weekend. Fort Dodge firefighters responded to the blaze Sunday morning at the home of Michael Bass. The family was away at the time and is now staying in a hotel.
The home’s attic and garage were destroyed. The house was built in the past year by Habitat For Humanity. No injuries are reported. The cause of the blaze is still unknown.
