Spirit Lake man faces drug charges

November 2, 2006 By admin

A 67-year-old Spirit Lake man faces drug charges. Police showed up at Larry Lee Steinhart’s home Wednesday night with a search warrant. Cops found about 28 grams of methamphetamine, some marijuana and other drugs for which Steinhart didn’t have a prescription.

Authorities have charged him with intent to deliver meth, a drug tax stamp violation, and possession of marijuana. He also faces four counts of illegal possession of prescription drugs. Police seized about two-thousand dollars in cash. Steinhart’s been booked into the Dickinson County Jail.
